Talal Ammache learned that user needs, performance data, and business objectives shape product decisions at HeyKiddo, an AI-powered parenting platform, located in Philadelphia. That’s where Ammache worked remotely as a Product and Content Intern. As a second year SE Master’s student, Ammache values how the internship allowed him to contribute “across several areas of the company, including product strategy, analytics, user experience, and content.”
Prior to the internship, Ammache worked on a project with HeyKiddo through the Penn Graduate Consulting Club in the Fall 2025 semester. Pleased with his work, “they offered me an internship.”
During this past summer’s internship, “I analyzed acquisition, subscription, conversion, engagement, and retention metrics using Google Analytics, RevenueCat, and Looker Studio,” Ammache explains. “I also researched competing parenting and digital health platforms to recommend improvements to HeyKiddo’s onboarding, content discovery, notifications, paywalls, and engagement features.”
Significantly, Ammache learned “how to translate complex research and data into clear, practical recommendations for a cross-functional team.”
Ammache holds his internship experience with HeyKiddo in such high esteem due to the fact that it is a growing platform. “My work was closely connected to real product decisions, and I could see how my findings helped the team evaluate priorities and improve the user experience,” Ammache adds.
When Ammache isn’t working, he enjoys playing soccer and tennis, skiing, hiking and reading. In addition, he enjoys, “spending time with family and friends.”
